The Trip to Kuching

It's been a long time I've not been jotting down anythings in my journal. I was on my amazing time to my hometown in Sarawak. I went to Kuching to my friend's house in Batu Kitang for the trip to Serikin with her. She was my old school friend but not in the same class but we had been the same class for 2 years in university. How I miss my life that time. When I arrived in Kuching, my friend was a bit busy with her work that time so I had been waiting for her to complete her work first in 15 minutes as her promise to me but she arrived earlier as expected. Then, we went to SCR Express to eat dinner there as the restaurant is the famous in Kuching and never been found in Peninsular Malaysia only Sarawak maa..I order Mee Seafood with tomato sauce I guess because I didn't remember the exactly name for the food I ordered and the taste was very delicious and also the Tea C special the most favourite drink in Sarawak..wowww..the Tea C special is something has a 3 layer with 'sugar apong' at the bottom level, then the second layer of 'coconut milk'/ milk only, and then put the milk tea at the top. For those who wanna visit Sarawak next time, dont forget to order that Tea C special drink. Well, actually it can found somewhere in Chicken Rice Shop in any branch. I did hear about the tea at CRS. Why not challenge yourself to try something new.
After that, we went back to my friend's house and got myself a rest there and went to sleep early because tomorrow we would have to woke up early in the morning to go to Serikin. It would take more than 1 hour to get there and my friend said that it would be a long queue if we been late and we couldnt get the parking space too. The next morning, we woke up early by 7.30 am and took the breakfast before start our trip to Serikin. When we arrived at Serikin, there were many shops along the way and it was like a night market but not at the night time but in the morning. It is similar to Shah Alam market during the weekend but in Serikin they sell many clothes, craft things, handbags and etc. Mostly the things were brought from Jawa and the sellers are also from Indonesia. I bought the sutera bali, songket jawa and some foods there. There were many beautiful things at the market but I had to control my expenses when shopping at the market as I brought a little money. My friend said to me it's better to shop the clothes for occasion or function at Serikin instead of shopping at Jackel (the beautiful clothes found in the shop somewhere in KL). Next time, I will bring a lots of money to shop there especially buying clothes to make a Kebaya. InsyaAllah..I will be there again...:)
